The Licensing and Safety Committee comprises of 15 Councillors and has delegated responsibility in respect of all the Council’s functions under the Licensing Act 2003, the Gambling Act 2005 and the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013. The Committee meets on an ad-hoc basis and considers policy matters under the terms of the 2003, 2005 and 2013 Acts.
