Cabinet Sub Committee - Houses in Multiple Occupation and Selective Licensing

Cabinet agreed the arrangements for dealing with selective licensing in Byker Old Town and Greater High Cross areas in the city 1st October 2021 to 30th September 2026 on 21 June 2021.   Delegated authority was granted to the Director of Operations and Regulatory Services to issue licences. Any application which the Director was unable to grant was to be submitted to this committee for the committee to make a final decision to refuse or revoke a licence.   Membership: 4 Cabinet members
