Membership The Forum shall comprise:   School Members • 4 Maintained Primary School Representatives – comprising of 2 headteachers elected by NAPH and 2 governors elected by governors who serve on maintained primary school governing boards. • 4 Maintained Secondary School Representatives – comprising of 2 head teachers elected by NASH and 2 governors elected by governors, who serve on maintained secondary school governing boards. • 9 Academy Representatives – elected by the proprietor bodies of academy trusts and free schools • 2 Nursery School Representative – appointed from maintained nursery school headteachers and elected by maintained nursery school governors • 1 Special School Academy Representative – elected by the chairs or proprietors of special school academy trusts • 1 Pupil Referral Units Representative – the Headteacher of the Pupil Referral Units • 1 Alternative Provision Academy/Free School Representative – elected by the the proprietor bodies of alternative provision academy trusts and free schools   Non-School Members • Teachers’ Association Representative – appointed by the Newham Teachers’ Association • 1 Diocesan Representative – appointed by the Diocese of Brentwood and the Diocese of Chelmsford • 1 Elected Member – appointed by Newham Council • 1 14-19 Representative – appointed by Newham 14-19 Leaders’ Board • 1 Private, Voluntary Independent Sector Representative – appointed by the Authority   The Secretary of State can nominate an observer to attend all meetings of the Forum. This will usually be a representative of the Education and Skills Funding Agency.
