About

The Newham Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Commission is a time-limited group, created in 2021 with the principal function of collecting and analysing local and national evidence in order to further Newham’s strategy and aspirations for children and young people with SEND in the borough. The Commission will collate and present it’s finding to the SEND Executive Board in order to inform the 2022-2027 SEND strategy, including an agreed partnership approach to what should inclusion look like in Education and in Society in Newham.
