About

The Local Access Forum is a statutory advisory body established under section 94 of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000.  There are approximately 80 Local Access Forums in England.   The main function of the Forum is to provide independent advice and guidance and contribute towards improving opportunities for the public to enjoy North Lincolnshire’s countryside, including access for outdoor recreation and sustainable travel.   The membership of the forum comprises 14 members of the public and 3 North Lincolnshire Council elected members.  Members of the public are welcome at meetings of the Forum and will normally be able to ask questions, make statements or representations and present petitions relating to the business of the Forum.    For more information please contact Abi Moran Democratic Services Officer by email at abi.moran@northlincs.gov.uk
