Children and Families Scrutiny Committee

The general terms of reference for all Overview and Scrutiny Committees are set out in Part 7 of the Council’s Constitution.     Areas of Scrutiny Responsibility: ·        Statutory responsibilities in relation to Children’s social care (including services for looked after children, children in need of help and protection and care leavers) ·       Early Help (including children and families centres, youth offending team) ·       Education (including schools capital projects, children’s safeguarding, special educational needs, early years, primary and secondary, and post-16 provision) ·       Integrated Disability Service
