Licensing and Regulatory Sub-Committee

Sub-Committees of the Licensing and Regulatory Committee will comprise three Members (with one ‘reserve’) drawn from the full membership of the Committee and are appointed for each occasion when needed.  Sub-Committee meetings are arranged usually when there is a difficulty or an appeal against an officer’s decision.  Meetings are held in accordance with the Hearing Procedure Rules and Sub-Committees will be asked to determine applications made under the Licensing Act 2003; the Gambling Act 2005; those made in respect of Sex Establishments;  and other non-development control regulatory matters, as appropriate.
