Audit and Governance Committee

Meetings of the Audit and Governance Committee are held roughly 4 times per year, which considers the audit and financial aspects of the council. Extraordinary meetings can also be called on an adhoc basis when business needs to be transacted in a timely manner.   This meeting comprises of 5 members of the Council, no member of Cabinet can sit on this committee.   The Audit and Governance Committee is required to produce an annual report on it’s work over the course of the municipal year for consideration by Full Council.   For more information on this committee, please see the terms of reference in Part 6 of the Council’s Constitution.
