The Planning Committee determines planning applications for development in the Borough. Many applications are delegated to planning officers but the planning Committee deals with certain types of planning issues eg major issues. A full list can be found in our constitution section 8.1.1 The Planning Committee also carries out certain functions relating to Highways and Public Rights of Way.
