Governance and Audit Committee

The membership of the Governance & Audit Committee shall comprise a total of 12 Committee Members, 8 of which are Local Authority Members, and 4 of which are lay persons.  This is in accordance with Sections 115-118 of the Local Government and Elections (Wales) Act 2021.

The functions to be discharged by the Governance & Audit Committee are contained in Section 9 (9.2 The Governance and Audit Committee) & Section 13 (Table 4) of the Council's Constitution.
