Purpose:

Content: RESOLVED: Cabinet; Granted approval and sign off the partnership agreement which includes the new service delivery model and the proposed service specifications for the 0-19 Health Visiting and School Nursing Service from 1st April 2025.   REASONS RESOLVED: 1.     The 0-19 HCP service is a local authority mandatory service that supports the improvements of health and wellbeing outcomes of children, young people, and families. Under the terms of the Health and Social Care Act 2012, WNC is required to provide the service to all children and families living in West Northants. 2.     The recommended course of action is the most cost-effective, which will enable WNC to integrate the 0-19 services with children services and family hubs and aligns with the 0-19 Health Needs Assessment recommendations.   ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS: The new service model is informed by the recommendations arising from the 0-19 Health Needs assessment, which included an extensive consultation process with professionals, system partners and children, young people, and their families
