Content: RESOLVED: Cabinet;  a)    Approved the reduction in PAN for Delapre Primary School b)    Approved the reduction in PAN for Croughton All Saints CE Primary School c)     Approved the revised criteria for Brackley Junior School (i.e. the removal of the linked area) d)    Approved the addition of the criterion to give some priority to children of staff e)    Approved the overall admission arrangements as detailed within Appendix A.   REASONS RESOLVED: Local Authorities must determine and publish the admission arrangements for all community and voluntary controlled schools annually to ensure compliance with the School Admissions Code (2021) The reductions in PAN are to ensure that schools are supported when facing falling pupil numbers due to a drop in the primary school population. The addition of the staff criterion is to ensure that schools are able to recruit and retain good staff by introducing a level of priority for children of staff. To ensure the admissions arrangements overall reflect the current position and are lawful.   ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS: The making of admission arrangements is a statutory requirement
