Content: Salford City Council - Record of Decision I Paul Dennett, City Mayor, in exercise of the powers contained within the City Council Constitution do hereby: 1. Approve the renewal of the lease arrangement with Clear Channel UK Ltd for an additional period of 10 years, from the termination date of 21st July, 2026, for an existing digital billboard site located on Trinity Way, in the central reservation, adjacent to Gore Street. 2 Note and approve that the provisionally agreed terms of the agreement to facilitate the renewal 3 Grant delegated authority to the Executive Director of Place, in conjunction with the S151 officer, to negotiate, agree and finalise the detailed terms of the transaction. 4 Authorise the Shared Legal Service to prepare all necessary documentation and to take all steps which are required to give effect to the above recommendations The Reasons are Clear Channel UK Ltd have put forward a request to extend the existing agreement of the digital display, located in the central reservation on Trinity Way for an additional ten year period. Options considered and rejected were: none Assessment of Risk: Low - all development costs will be met by the advert developer, there will be no liability on the Council.
