Purpose: To provide an update to the Council’s Planned Highway Maintenance Programme for 2025/26 for both footways and carriageways, presented to Transport and Air Quality Committee on 3rd February 2025.

Content: RESOLVED that the Transport & Air Quality Committee     i.  Approves the Council’s revised annual planned highway maintenance programmes for 2025/26 as detailed in Appendix 1A of this report.   ii.  Note the additional list of reserve schemes in Appendix 2A which will be brought forward if further additional funding becomes available or there is a need to substitute/defer any schemes from Appendix 1A.   iii.  Delegates any subsequent changes to the programme to the Director of Environment & Community Services (Traffic and Engineering) following consultation with the Chair of the Transport and Air Quality Committee.
