Purpose: This application is for national development which will be determined by Infrastructure Services Committee following consultation with the relevant Area Committee.

Content: The Committee agreed:   1.    the recommendations as per the report; and   2.    to provide the following comments to the Infrastructure Services Committee:   a)    Committee would like to ensure the Traffic Management Plan is robust to address local concerns incorporating if possible a rapid dispute resolution process to ease local concerns; b)    Committee noted the applicant’s commitment to ongoing discussions with local community groups;  c)    Committee noted the applicant’s willingness to work with the Area Team to engage with Community Groups and schools;   d)    Committee welcomed the applicant’s comments that some landscaping would take place during the construction phase;   e)    Committee seeks assurance that there is as little disruption as possible for communities and that the applicant works with land owners and those affected by the works to ensure they do their best to mitigate impact during construction.
