Purpose:

Content: 1.    That authority be delegated to the Deputy Chief Executive & Executive Director – Resources, in consultation with the Leader of the Council, to take all decisions necessary to progress the new Strategic Technology Partner contract.   2.    That the approach, as set out in the body of the report to contract with a new Strategic Technology Partner, be endorsed.   3.    That the outline Target Operating Model to leverage digital capabilities to transform Council services, leveraging the new Strategic Technology Partner contract be endorsed, subject to agreed areas of focus and existing governance.   4.    That the current restructuring of the IT function which will enable the Council to leverage the full value of the Strategic Technology Partner contract be noted.
