Purpose: The Cabinet will be asked to approve the entering into of a new Section 75 Agreement with NELFT for the provision of the Adults Emergency Duty Team service to April 2030.

Content: Cabinet resolved to:   (i)  Approve the entering into of a Section 75 Agreement, in partnership with Havering, Redbridge and Waltham Forest Councils, with the North East London Foundation NHS Trust (NELFT) for the provision of an Adults Emergency Duty Team service for a five-year term commencing 1 April 2025; and   (ii)  Authorise the Strategic Director, Children and Adults, in consultation with the Head of Legal, to enter into the Section 75 Agreement and all other necessary or ancillary agreements on behalf of the Council.
