Purpose: Update on Twickenham Riverside Development and Authorisation to enter Construction Contract

Content: RESOLVED:   The Committee resolved to:   a)  Note the update and progress made on the Twickenham Riverside project.   b)  Note the financial business case and funding workstreams.   c)   Note the updated appraisal of the economic, social and environmental benefits of the project.   d)  Approve the additional Council net investment of £16.80m (total £37.00m), allowing for the income on the sale of homes/commercial units, to deliver the Twickenham Riverside scheme (total project cost of £67.19m) as detailed in the public and exempt reports.   e)   Delegate to the Executive Director of Environment and Community Services, in consultation with the Executive Director of Finance, the authority for the Council to enter into the construction contract for the delivery of the Twickenham Riverside scheme at a contract value as set out in the exempt report.
