Purpose:

Content: The Cabinet:   1.1.         Agreed the principle of utilising Community Asset Transfer as a means to protecting assets of community value from repurposing or redevelopment.   1.2.         Agreed the principles for Community Asset Transfer set out in paragraph 3.7 and the criteria for when an asset transfer will be considered, set out in paragraph 3.8 with Community Asset Transfer approvals following normal Governance procedures within the Constitution.   1.3.         Agreed to delegate any minor amendments to the principles, criteria and approach to the Leader of the Council and the Chief Executive.
