Purpose: To seek approval to re-procure the corporate stationery contract
Content: Cllr Colin Hay sought Cabinet approval to procure a corporate stationery and office supply contract. Having considered all of the information, Cabinet noted the report and RESOLVED to: Delegate authority to the Assistant Director - Asset Management and Property Services, in consultation with the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance, Assets and Transformation to: 1. Conduct a competitive procurement process via Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation Office Supplies IV framework agreement, in respect of a call-off contract for the supply of stationery and office supplies. The proposed call-off contract shall continue for an initial period of 4 years and include an option to extend its term for a further period of not more than 1 year (i.e., 4+1 years); 2. Award the above contract to the preferred tenderer; and 3. Determine whether to exercise the option to extend the term of the call-off contract for a further period of not more than 1 year on the expiry of the initial 4-year term.
