Purpose: The Cabinet will be presented with an update on the new build schemes within the Be First portfolio and asked to approve additional funding to support the close out of ten schemes (200 Becontree Avenue, Gascoigne East 3a – Blocks J and I, Oxlow Lane, Roxwell Road, Gascoigne West Phase 1, Gascoigne East Phase 2, Crown House, Weighbridge and Gascoigne Road Improvement).

Content: Cabinet resolved to:   (i)  Note the successful delivery by Be First of 205 new homes to date during 2025 and the planned handover of a further 1,357 homes in the remainder of the current approved portfolio; and   (ii)  Approve, in principle, the increases to the capital budgets for the schemes listed below and delegate authority to the Strategic Director, Resources, to agree the final budget requirement and, where necessary, increase the respective capital budget accordingly:   ·  200 Becontree Avenue – £8,388 ·  Gascoigne East 3a Block J - £70,474 ·  Gascoigne East 3a Block I - £318,715 ·  Oxlow Lane - £855,558 ·  Roxwell Road - £924,070 ·  Gascoigne West Ph 1 - £64,863 ·  Crown House - £59,583 ·  Gascoigne East Ph 2 (C, F and E2) - £121,288 ·  Weighbridge - £178,244
