Content: Cllr Lisa Spivey sought approval to increase the value of the long-term agency call-off contract and to exercise the options to extend the contract.   Having considered all of the information, Cabinet noted the report and RESOLVED to:       1               Approve the exercise of two 1-year extension options (commencing on 5 December 2025 and 5 December 2026 respectively) under the council’s call-off contract with Comensura Ltd for the provision of temporary agency staff and permanent recruitment for hard to fill roles under Lot 1 of the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO) Framework Agreement for Managing Temporary Recruitment for Local Authorities; and;   2.         Approve a modification to the advertised value of the above contract (that is, £70 million) by increasing its value by a further £31million to make provision for additional spend to address the council’s requirement for a higher volume of temporary agency staff and permanent employees in hard to fill roles than had been anticipated when the contract was awarded originally.
