Purpose:

Content: It was MOVED, SECONDED and RESOLVED:   •                     To provide shareholder approval to allow Lewisham Homes to enter into a long-term lease agreement for 35 self-contained flats in a residential block at 485 New Cross Road. These units will be used for the provision of Temporary Accommodation (TA), in line with the financial modelling and operational requirements outlined in the Part 2 Report. •                     To delegate authority to the Executive Director of Housing in consultation with the Executive Director of Corporate Resources and Director of Law and Corporate Governance to enter into a nominations’ agreement with Lewisham Homes for the provision of temporary accommodation in these 35 units leased from L&Q and agree the appropriate nomination fee that the council would pay to Lewisham Homes. •                     To delegate authority to the Executive Director of Housing, in consultation with the Executive Director of Corporate Resources and Director of Law and Corporate Governance, to agree and enter such other documentation and seek such approvals as may be necessary to give effect to the recommendations in the report.
