Purpose: To consider the findings and to approve the recommendations of the Grants Review Working Group.

Content: Decision: 1.                    Note the comments arising from the Overview and Scrutiny Committee meeting held on 18 November 2025 set out in paragraph 13 of this report; and 2.                    Adopt the Grants Policy set out at Appendix 2.   Reason(s): 1                      By adopting the new Grants Policy there will be a robust criterion for allocation and governance of grants in line with the strategic priorities to deliver value for money. 2                      The new Grants Policy should be considered when planning the budget, allocation for 2026-27. Other options considered and rejected by the Executive: Do nothing.   Details of any conflict of interest declared by the Leader or lead councillors and any dispensation granted: None.
