Purpose: The Cabinet will be asked to consider proposals for potential revisions to the Local Council Tax Reduction Scheme prior to seeking its approval by Council.

Content: Recommended to Council: (16 December 2025)   That: 1.          The Local Council Tax Reduction (LCTRS) Scheme for 2025 to 2026 as outlined in Report number CAB/WS/25/059, be reviewed.   2.       The changes to the Scheme outlined in section 2 of Report number CAB/WS/25/059 be agreed and that the maximum discount change only relates to 2026 to 2027.
