Purpose: Approve the commencement of a competitive procurement process to secure an open framework for the supply of home (domiciliary) care services for adults aged 18 and over, including reablement support, and Children and Young Adults with Disabilities (CYAD) for period of up to 8 years.   Delegate authority to the Strategic Director of Adult Social Care & Public Health, following consultation with the Director of Finance (S151 Officer), Portfolio Holder for Adult Services & Public Health, Portfolio Holder for Children’s Services and the Portfolio Holder for Finance & Highways, to appoint providers to the framework, following the competitive procurement process.
