Purpose:

Content: Resolved that   (a)       the proposed draft response to the ‘National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and other changes to the planning system (December 2025)’ consultation questions, as set out at Appendix A of the report, be agreed and sent to Government as the Council’s formal response; and   (b)       authority be delegated to the Head of Planning and Environmental Health, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Planning, to make minor alterations to improve the Council’s response as deemed necessary.
