Purpose: Objection from Tarves Community Council but offer recommending for approval

Content: Councillor Hassan, seconded by Councillor Ritchie, moved that the application be refused on the grounds that it was contrary to:  Policy P2 of the Aberdeenshire Local Development Plan due to the significant loss of open space; and Policy P1 due to the compact nature of the proposed development with small gardens and limited parking being considered to be overdevelopment of the site, which was not in-keeping with the wider Tarves settlement.    Councillor Owen, seconded by Councillor Davidson, moved that authority to grant Full Planning Permission be delegated to the Head of Planning and Economy, as per the recommendations within the report.   M – 7 A – 4   Therefore, the application was refused.
