Purpose:

Content: Resolved that   (a)       the draft Biodiversity Duty Report 2026 be approved as Elmbridge Borough Council’s statutory report demonstrating compliance with the Biodiversity Duty between January 2023 and December 2025;   (b)       authority be delegated to the Head of Planning and Environmental Health, in consultation with the Portfolio Holders for Planning and Climate Change, Environmental Services & Sustainability, to agree any non-substantive changes to the Biodiversity Duty Report 2026 prior to publication; and   (c)        the Secretary of State of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs be notified of the Council’s intention to publish the Biodiversity Duty Report 2026.
