Purpose:

Content: In accordance with the Councillors’ Code of Conduct the following transparency statements were made:-   Item 5 –        Cllr Gifford as he is a Council representative on the Aberdeen International Airport Consultative Committee and the Airport is referred to as a consultee in the report.  He indicated that the response to the consultation had been provided by the Safeguarding Team and not the AIACC so having applied the objective test he concluded that he had no interest to declare;                        Cllr Gifford as he had previous professional associations (through roles with the Council and Clan Cancer) with one of the objectors speaking to Committee.  He indicated that these associations were historical and having applied the objective test he had no interest to declare;                                           Cllr Lonchay indicated that he had had numerous emails from representees to the application but had given no opinion and having no interest to declare would take part in considering the item;                        Cllr Joji indicated that she had met in a public place with one of the speakers.  She said the information shared at this meeting was the same as the information she had received through numerous emails, like other councillors.  She indicated that she had not shared any opinions on the proposals and having applied the objective test would take part in considering the item;                        Cllr Keating indicated that a couple of the speakers were known to him personally, but having applied the objective test he would continue to consider the item;                          Cllr Miller indicated that he had also met with one of the speakers in the same way as Cllr Joji and having applied the objective test, would continue to take part in considering the item;                     Councillor Walker indicated that she had also met with one of the speakers in the same way as Cllr Joji and Cllr Millar and there had been discussions at Community Council meetings but had no interest to declare; and   Item 6 –        Cllr Baillie indicated that he was a member of Inverurie Events which was a stakeholder, but having applied the objective test he had no interest to declare.
