Content: Salford City Council - Record of Decision Title: Crescent Masterplan: Disposal of land at Wynne Street, Salford to facilitate the delivery of a new Acoustics building by the University of Salford I, Councillor Jack Youd, Deputy City Mayor and Lead Member for Finance Support Services and Regeneration, in exercise of the powers contained within the City Council’s constitution do hereby; Approve the provisionally agreed Heads of Terms for the sale of land at Wynne Street to the University of Salford for the delivery of a new Acoustics building. Delegate authority to the Executive Director Place in consultation with the S151 officer to negotiate, agree, and finalise the detailed terms of the transaction. Authorise the Shared Legal Service to prepare all necessary documentation and to take all steps which are required to give effect to the above recommendations. The Reasons: To support the delivery of a new Acoustics, educational and research facility by the University of Salford. Assessment of Risk is low The source of funding: N/A The transaction will generate a capital receipt for the City Council. Legal Advice obtained: Deborah Scott, Shared Legal Service.
