Content: Salford City Council - Record of Decision Title: Pendleton House, Pendleton, Salford I, Councillor Jack Youd, Deputy City Mayor and Lead Member for Finance, Support Services and Regeneration, in exercise of the powers contained within the City Council’s constitution do hereby: Approve the cessation of forfeiture proceedings against the lessee: Pendleton House Limited. Approve consent to assign the leasehold interest to ForLiving. Approve acceptance of a surrender of the existing lease and the grant of a new 250 year lease to ForLiving for delivery of 88no. social rent apartments on the provisionally agreed heads of terms. Authorise the Shared Legal Service to complete all necessary documentation and to take all steps which are required to give effect to the above recommendations. The Reasons are to redevelop a derelict building for much need affordable housing.
