Purpose: Committee is requested to note and approve the preferred option for compliant disposal of Waste Upholstered Domestic Seating that contain Persistent Organic Pollutants and recommend that the required capital and revenue funding is provided to comply with legislation.

Content: Recommendations agreed with one extra recommendation added by the Committee.   1.2.3 - Agree that the Chair feedback the concerns of the Committee to COSLA’s Environment and Economy Board on budgetary pressures from compliance to new legislation.
