The Uplands Area Planning Sub-Committee will be considering applications for development, including a site visit report, and receiving information on applications determined under delegated powers and appeal decisions.

The meeting will be asked to make a decision on an application for the erection of a replacement dwelling with detached double garage at High Meadow, Westhall Hill in Fulbrook. The meeting will be asked to consider a report that recommends that the application be provisionally approved. The report notes that the design of the development,

evoking the typical Cotswold vernacular.

Fulbrook Parish Council have objected to the proposal because they consider the development to be too large for the site and because it would be detrimental to the appearance of the surrounding area.

The meeting will also be asked to decide on an application for the conversion and extension of a summer house to create a self contained annexe at 3 Taynton in Burford. The meeting will be asked to consider a report that recommends approving the application. The report states that the annexe

would enable emergency services access all around the site

The meeting will also receive a report on a site visit to land east of Wroslyn Road in Freeland. This site visit will be for the Sub-Committee to familiarise themselves with the site, which is the subject of a planning application that is scheduled to be decided by the Sub-Committee in January 2025.

The meeting will also receive a report on applications that were decided by officers using delegated powers. The meeting will also be informed of recent appeal decisions.

The meeting has been provided with a list of appeal decisions, including the decision on an application for the erection of a two-storey side and a single-storey extension along with the extension of an existing outbuilding at 4 Manor Farm Cottages, Upper End, Burford. The appeal was dismissed.
