The Plymouth Council Planning Committee met on Thursday 24 April 2025 to discuss several planning applications, decisions issued, and appeal decisions. Councillor Bill Stevens, Chair of the Planning Committee, was scheduled to chair the meeting. The committee was expected to review planning applications for various locations in Plymouth, with recommendations to grant them conditionally.

Planning Applications

The Planning Committee was scheduled to review and consider several planning applications. The Service Director for Strategic Planning and Infrastructure was expected to submit a schedule asking the members to consider applications, development proposals by local authorities, and statutory consultations under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990¹ and the Planning (Listed Building and Conservation Areas) Act 1990².

• 11 Derry Avenue [https://www.google.com/maps/search/11+Derry+Avenue,+PL4+6BH+Plymouth+Council/], PL4 6BH - Application 25/00274/FUL by Mr Hicks in Drake Ward, with a recommendation to grant conditionally. An addendum to this application was also provided.
• Land Adjacent to 38 Parsonage Way [https://www.google.com/maps/search/38+Parsonage+Way,+PL4+0LY+Plymouth+Council/], PL4 0LY - Application 24/01455/FUL by Ms Susan Beesley in Sutton and Mount Gould Ward, with a recommendation to grant conditionally. An addendum to this application was also provided.
• The Old Dairy, School Lane [https://www.google.com/maps/search/The+Old+Dairy+School+Lane,+PL7+1NQ+Plymouth+Council/], PL7 1NQ - Application 24/01479/FUL by Mr Nathan Stonecliffe in Plympton Erle Ward, with a recommendation to grant conditionally. An addendum to this application was also provided.

Planning Application Decisions and Appeal Decisions

The committee was scheduled to review planning application decisions issued between 19 March 2025 and 11 April 2025. This included committee decisions, delegated decisions, applications withdrawn, and applications returned as invalid.

Additionally, a schedule of appeal decisions made by the Planning Inspectorate was to be submitted for review.
