The sub-committee is scheduled to discuss three items relating to taxi driver licensing. The Public Reports Pack includes a document titled Licensing Sub-Committee Procedure for Taxi, which outlines the procedure to be followed during the meeting. According to this document, the procedure involves introductions of the sub-committee members, officers, parties and representatives, and an outline of the application details by the Licensing Officer. The applicant, or their representative, will be invited to present their case and answer questions. The Licensing Sub-Committee Procedure for Taxi document states that:
Under no circumstances must the parties or their representatives offer the sub-committee information in the absence of the other parties.
Election of Chair
