Administration and Regulatory Updates
The board is scheduled to discuss administration and regulatory updates. This will include a review of the Pensions Administration Strategy, the Business Plan, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The report pack includes an update on the Business Plan, with Appendix B Business Plan Q1 update containing a summary of progress against the plan's objectives. The report pack also includes Appendix C - Dashboards Monthly Progress Report Jun-Aug 2025, which provides a monthly progress report for June to August 2025.
Appendix A KPI Q1 2025 contains information on key performance indicators for the first quarter of 2025.
Pensions Committee Reports and Feedback
The Pensions Board is scheduled to discuss reports and feedback from the recent Pensions Committee meetings held on 20 June 2025 and 19 September 2025. Agendas for these meetings are available on the Shropshire Council website.
Economic Update
The board is scheduled to receive an economic update. This discussion is scheduled to be held in private, with the press and public excluded.
Exclusion of Press and Public
The agenda includes a resolution to exclude the press and public during consideration of several items, citing Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 19721, Section 5 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations, and Paragraphs 3 of the Council's Access to Information Rules. This exclusion applies to discussions regarding the exempt minutes, the economic update, Pensions Committee exempt reports and the governance update.
