The Council of Lincolnshire Council met on Friday 20 February 2026 to approve the budget for the upcoming financial year and to adopt a new Council Plan. The meeting also saw the approval of the Pay Policy Statement and the Members' Allowances Scheme.

Environment Scrutiny Committee - Friday, 13 February 2026 - 10.00 am

The Environment Scrutiny Committee met on Friday 13 February 2026 to discuss the Humber 2100+ flood risk management strategy, a new Environment Policy, and performance reporting for waste and flooding services. The committee acknowledged the progress on the Humber 2100+ programme and recommended continued support for the initiative. They also supported the proposed new Environment Policy, with a summary of their comments to be passed to the Executive. Performance in waste management was noted as below target for recycling rates, though household waste collected per household was below target, which was viewed positively. Flood investigation reports were all completed within the six-month target.

Pay Policy and Terms and Conditions Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 3rd February, 2026 2.00 pm

The Pay Policy and Terms and Conditions Sub-Committee met on 3 February 2026 to consider the Pay Policy Statement for 2026-27 and conduct a pay review for Chief Officers. The Sub-Committee recommended the Pay Policy Statement to full Council for approval and approved recommendations from an exempt report concerning the Chief Officers' pay review.

Growth Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 27 January 2026 - 10.00 am

The Growth Scrutiny Committee of Lincolnshire Council was scheduled to discuss the council's budget proposals for 2026/2027, review car park management at the Queen Elizabeth II Lincolnshire Coastal Country Park, and consider its work programme for the upcoming year. The committee was also set to review property matters and proposed changes to charging and contracts within the economic infrastructure property portfolio.

The committee also reviewed the current flood risk and water management capital programme and its future pipeline.
