Executive - Tuesday, 4th November, 2025 10.30 am
The Lincolnshire Council Executive met on Tuesday to discuss active recovery beds, the adult social care strategy, the sufficiency strategy for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and alternative provision, and the rights of way improvement plan. Councillors voted to approve the recommissioning of active recovery beds, and the SEND strategy, and to adopt the rights of way improvement plan. However, they voted to reject the adult social care strategy, sending it back for further review and engagement.
Corporate Parenting Panel - Wednesday, 29th October, 2025 10.00 am
The Corporate Parenting Panel of Lincolnshire Council met on Wednesday 29 October 2025 to discuss its work programme and to engage with young people about their experiences. The Lincolnshire Council Executive met to discuss long-term coastal flood resilience, updates to the local enforcement plan, and appointments to outside bodies. The Executive approved a financial contribution of up to £0.995m towards the first stage of a business case for investment in long term coastal flood resilience and economic sustainability, supported the Environment Agency’s beach nourishment programme, and agreed to the council's role as lead partner on the Lincs Coast 2100+ Partnership. Councillors also approved the updated Local Enforcement Plan and made amendments to appointments to outside bodies.
Community Safety Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 30th September, 2025 10.00 am
The Community Safety Scrutiny Committee convened to discuss several key issues, including the Stay Safe Partnership's annual report, progress following the His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) inspection of Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, and the Grenfell Tower Phase 1 and 2 reports. The committee approved the planned work programme for 2025 and 2026, subject to the consideration of items discussed.
