Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority - Greater Lincolnshire Transport Board - Wednesday, 12th November, 2025 2.00 pm
The Greater Lincolnshire Transport Board convened to discuss and make decisions on several key transport initiatives for the region. The board approved recommendations for the Greater Lincolnshire Local Transport Plan, the Greater Lincolnshire Local Transport Authority Transition Programme, the Rural Transport Group, Transport for Greater Lincolnshire Terms of Reference, and Local Transport Funding. The meeting addressed strategic objectives, funding allocations, and collaborative efforts to enhance transport infrastructure and services across Greater Lincolnshire.
Executive - Tuesday, 4th November, 2025 10.30 am
The Lincolnshire Council Executive met on Tuesday to discuss active recovery beds, the adult social care strategy, the sufficiency strategy for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and alternative provision, and the rights of way improvement plan. Councillors voted to approve the recommissioning of active recovery beds, and the SEND strategy, and to adopt the rights of way improvement plan. However, they voted to reject the adult social care strategy, sending it back for further review and engagement.
Executive - Tuesday, 7th October, 2025 10.30 am
The Lincolnshire Council Executive met to discuss long-term coastal flood resilience, updates to the local enforcement plan, and appointments to outside bodies. The Executive approved a financial contribution of up to £0.995m towards the first stage of a business case for investment in long term coastal flood resilience and economic sustainability, supported the Environment Agency’s beach nourishment programme, and agreed to the council's role as lead partner on the Lincs Coast 2100+ Partnership. Councillors also approved the updated Local Enforcement Plan and made amendments to appointments to outside bodies.
Overview and Scrutiny Management Board - Thursday, 21st August, 2025 10.30 am
The Lincolnshire Council's Overview and Scrutiny Management Board upheld the decision made by Councillor Tom Catton, Executive Councillor for Resources and Councillor Michael Cheyne, Executive Councillor for Highways and Transport, to approve a £578,500 highway drainage upgrade scheme at Mount Lane, Kirkby la Thorpe. The board debated concerns about the project's cost, scale, and impact, but ultimately voted against referring the decision back to the executive councillors for reconsideration.
Executive - Tuesday, 8th July, 2025 10.30 am
At a meeting of the Lincolnshire County Council Executive, councillors reviewed the council's financial performance in 2024-25, approved the re-procurement of the occupational health contract, and agreed to move forward with one of two options for local government reorganisation. The executive voted to recommend option one, the continuity option, to the council.
