Proposed Sale of Factory Premises at West Shore Industrial Estate Fraserburgh

From: Banff and Buchan Area Committee - Tuesday, 30th September, 2025 9.30 am - September 30, 2025

The Committee is asked to provide comment for Business Services Committee on the recommendation to sell premises at West Shore Industrial Estates Fraserburgh to the current tenant. The property is held by Property and Facilities Management and is an asset capable of contributing to economic development and producing income. In terms of section 5.3.7 (i) of the existing Surplus Property Policy there is a general presumption against the sale of income producing assets, unless officers are of the view that it is in the best interests of the Council to dispose of the property. Therefore, the matter is being referred initially to this Committee for consideration.
