The Audit Committee of Hackney Council was scheduled to discuss a range of critical governance, financial, and risk management matters. Key topics included the Auditor's Annual Report for 2024-25, updates on treasury management, and a review of risk registers for the Children and Education, and Adults, Health and Integration Directorates. The committee was also set to consider progress reports on audit and anti-fraud activities, the council's whistleblowing arrangements, and the proposed Internal Audit Annual Plan for 2026/27. Finally, an annual report on the Audit Committee's own activities in 2025/26 was scheduled for review.

The Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission met on Monday 2 March 2026 to discuss patient experiences of sickle cell care, the Care Quality Commission's assessment of Hackney Adult Social Care, and updates on the Transforming Outcomes Programme within Adult Social Care. The meeting also reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting and the Commission's work programme.
