The operational decision to deactivate an Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) setting is made by the Director of Education and Children’s Services in consultation with the Education and Children’s Services Leadership Team.?The operational decision to deactivate could be taken in 3 scenarios and will be taken by assessing identified factors for consideration. This report sets out the Aberdeenshire guidance for deactivating an Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) setting.?
