Annual Meeting, South Holland District Council - Wednesday, 14th May, 2025 6.30 pm
South Holland District Council was scheduled to hold its annual meeting on 14 May 2025. Councillors were expected to discuss committee and outside body membership, the schedule of meetings for 2025/26, and the appointment of a second Independent Person. Also on the agenda was a report from the Cabinet meeting on 1 April 2025, and a six-monthly update on the South and East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership (SELCP).
Planning Committee - Wednesday, 7th May, 2025 6.30 pm
At the Planning Committee meeting on 7 May 2025, South Holland District Council councillors considered a range of planning applications, including conservation works to the Spalding War Memorial, and the retrospective erection of a spectator stand and dugouts at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field. Councillors approved all applications, with some conditions. They also noted a report on recent planning appeal decisions.
Special Meeting, Cabinet - Tuesday, 6th May, 2025 6.30 pm
The South Holland Council Cabinet was scheduled to meet on Tuesday, 6 May 2025, to discuss and allocate a budget for the development of a final plan for Local Government Re-organisation (LGR) for submission to the government.
