The Organisation and Communities Scrutiny Panel met on Thursday, 12 March 2026, to discuss the Council's Digital Strategy and the use of Artificial Intelligence, community engagement efforts, and the monitoring of Freedom of Information requests. The Panel also received an update from the Cabinet Member for Finance, Resources and Social Value and discussed the work programme for the upcoming year.

Local Planning Committee - Tuesday, 3rd March, 2026 6.30 pm

The Local Planning Committee meeting on 3 March 2026 saw several applications for Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) discussed, with two deferred due to insufficient information regarding management plans and noise mitigation. A proposal for a two-storey side extension to a Grade II listed building at 25 Gloucester Circus was refused due to concerns about its impact on heritage value, while a similar application at 888 Sidcup Road was deferred for further information. Planning permission was granted for HMO conversions at 73 and 57 Roydene Road, and 76 Riverdale Road. An application for an 8-bed HMO at 31 Eltham Hill was deferred.
