South Holland Council's Cabinet met to discuss and approve a new waste collection model to meet the requirements of the Environment Act 2021. The approved model involves collecting residual waste in 240-litre wheeled bins on an alternate weekly basis, recycling and paper/card in separate 240-litre bins on alternate fortnights, and food waste in a 23-litre caddy weekly. The Cabinet also approved ordering food waste collection vehicles and wheeled bins in 2025/26, pending budget confirmation, and recommended amendments to the Capital Programme for Council approval.

Cabinet - Tuesday, 10th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The South Holland District Council cabinet met to discuss the Q4 performance and risk reports, approve operational arrangements for energy efficiency grants, review housing performance, and adopt a new tenant engagement strategy. The cabinet approved East Lindsey District Council acting as the lead authority for the Warm Homes - Local Grant programme and adopted the Tenant Engagement and Influence Strategy 2025-2027.

The Performance Monitoring Panel of South Holland Council scheduled a meeting on 20 May 2025, to discuss the council's performance across various sectors. Annual Meeting, South Holland District Council - Wednesday, 14th May, 2025 6.30 pm

South Holland District Council was scheduled to hold its annual meeting on 14 May 2025. Planning Committee - Wednesday, 7th May, 2025 6.30 pm

At the Planning Committee meeting on 7 May 2025, South Holland District Council councillors considered a range of planning applications, including conservation works to the Spalding War Memorial, and the retrospective erection of a spectator stand and dugouts at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field. Councillors approved all applications, with some conditions. They also noted a report on recent planning appeal decisions.
