Overview and Scrutiny Management Board - Thursday, 25th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board met to discuss several key issues, including the King Charles III England Coast Path, treasury management performance, and an update on the IT services portfolio. Councillor Stephen Bunney, Chairman of the Council, opened the meeting with tributes to former councillors and staff, before councillors moved to discuss the financial performance review, the youth justice plan, and a motion regarding asylum seekers. Councillors approved the Lincolnshire Youth Justice Plan 2025-28, and voted to approve an amended motion regarding the location of asylum seekers in the county. They also approved the calendar of meetings for 2026/27, and made appointments to committees and outside bodies.

Children's and Culture Scrutiny Committee - Friday, 5th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Children and Cultural Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership Annual Report, and to review proposed changes to the Children and Young People's Nursing Service. The committee approved the Lincolnshire Safeguarding Children Partnership Annual Report for 2024-25 and supported taking forward the recommendations for the Children and Young People's Nursing Service to the Executive Councillor for Children's Services. The committee also approved the planned work programme for 2025-26, subject to consideration of items discussed.
