Newham Council is holding an extraordinary meeting where they will consider nominations for Honorary Alderperson and Honorary Freedom of the Borough Awards. The council will also address standard meeting procedures such as apologies for absence and declarations of interest.

SACRE - Thursday 13th November 2025 6.30 p.m.

The Newham Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) met to discuss preparations for Inter Faith Week, review pupil survey results, and consider priorities for the coming year. The council was also scheduled to discuss a briefing paper on Ramadan, and a student RE project.

Themed, Council - Monday 10th November 2025 7.00 p.m.

The Newham Council meeting scheduled for 10 November 2025 included discussion of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee’s work programme, a themed report on growth, and the East London Joint Waste Plan. Councillors were also expected to discuss motions relating to housing and developer contributions, and to answer questions from both the public and council members. The council was also scheduled to hear from Sunder Katwala of British Futures on the work of the Commission for the Future of Belonging & Inclusion in Newham.
