The panel approved a £15 increase to the council tax precept for a Band D property, which will generate additional funding for policing services. The meeting also addressed concerns regarding the financial stewardship of North Lodge and the ongoing local government reform.

The Warwickshire County Council Regulatory Committee met to discuss a diversion order for a public footpath, and to note the delegated decisions that had been made since their last meeting. The committee voted to send the diversion order for public footpath T9 in Middleton to the Secretary of State for confirmation.

The Warwickshire County Council Regulatory Committee met on Tuesday to discuss planning application WDC/24CC004 for Evergreen School. Councillors voted to refer the application to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for consultation, and, if the Secretary of State does not call in the application, to delegate the power to grant planning permission to officers. This decision was made despite an objection from Sport England regarding the loss of playing fields.
