The Full Council of Lancashire Council is scheduled to meet on 20 November 2025 to discuss local government reorganisation, committee appointments, and updates to the council's constitution. The upcoming Full Council meeting is set to address a variety of topics, including community safety, the members' allowance scheme, and the annual review of overview and scrutiny. Councillors will also discuss committee appointments, the Lancashire County Pension Fund, and the council's meeting schedule for 2026/27.

Full Council - Thursday, 17th July, 2025 1.00 pm

Lancashire County Council's Full Council met on 17 July 2025, and among other things, approved the Lancashire Child and Youth Justice Plan 2025-26, and agreed to review its policy on flying flags over council property, prioritising the Union Flag, the Flag of England, the Lancashire Flag, royal flags, and military flags and ensigns. The council also discussed the financial challenges it faces, and heard questions from councillors and members of the public.

Annual General Meeting, Full Council - Thursday, 22nd May, 2025 1.00 pm

At the Full Council meeting on 22 May 2025, Lancashire County Council elected Councillor Alf Clempson as Chairman and Councillor Lee Hutchinson as Vice-Chairman. The council also re-elected Councillor Stephen Atkinson as Leader of the County Council, who then announced his cabinet. Councillors approved the Constitution of the County Council for 2025/26 and the membership of various committees, as well as appointments to outside bodies including the Lancashire Combined Fire Authority.
